Viterbi Voices is back with Season 10! In the pilot episode, Paul sits down with Professor Steve Bucher, the director of the Engineering in Society (EiS) Program. Steve developed and led the engineering writing program that evolved into the EiS program. In this episode, Paul and Steve explore the concept of civic responsibility for engineers. They also discuss how the EiS program connects students’ technical work to its societal impact and cultivates responsible professionals, the influence of artificial intelligence and other technologies on students' education, and much more!
